Description
CCDragon-93's character Raca, a Skura (a species created by Shikariix). This is my entry for full round 32 of the PaperChainProject
I decided to join last-minute and I'm glad that I gave this very special creature a try! I must admit that I wasn't very excited at first about drawing a fantasy creature, but I take it all back! I've come to like Raca very much <3 Such a beautiful and nice character ^^
I messed up a lot though because I'm a little restless and rushed, but at least I did create the ambience I was going for PLUS I drew skull (omg my dad has a skull like this at home, I was there this morning, I could have used it as a reference but nope)
Raca likes pretty environments and I really love a lot of beautiful places that are far away from here (tropical islands, mountains, deserts, cayons, savannahs) but this weekend I was with my family in the south of the Netherlands and we went for a walk together in the hills and the forest and it was just so beautiful! The sunlight coloured the trees and the grass in gold, while everything in the shadows was covered in thin ice crystals. I tried to recreate that contrast (but ice was a bit hard to draw with the materials I have here
)
